Randle Wilson - Managing Director
Randle has been Managing Director since 1995 and has overseen The Furnishing Service’s continued and significant growth.
Working previously for Glasgow City Council for 18 years, Randle worked in homelessness supporting and developing a range of services. As Furnished Accommodation manager Randle expanded the council’s temporary accommodation to 600 properties. Randle then pioneered the development of the city's permanent furnished accommodation programme which led to the creation of 6000 furnished properties meeting the needs of the city's most vulnerable.
Randle’s clear view is that it is his responsibility to ensure that The Furnishing Service provides the best possible service to its many customers, listening to both the company’s existing and potential customers so that a service can be developed to meet their exact needs.
"With the contribution from our excellent staff I have seen a 300% increase in turnover and the company going from strength to strength. The opening of our Manchester base has allowed the company to grow substantially and achieve many of our social objectives in creating long term employment and training for people who were unemployed. This has been achieved without compromising our renowned reputation for providing quality service".
Randle has managed many, diverse, furnished tenancy services involving the most vulnerable customer groups. He has a strong empathy with those customer groups and is dedicated to ensuring that The Furnishing Service provides its customers with a service that is tailored to meet their needs exactly. He is committed to this because of his desire to help you support your customers as he understands the difference that The Furnishing Service can make.
Throughout his working life he has been committed to providing social housing customers, initially in Glasgow and now across the U.K., with the quality of service they deserve. He has made sure that The Furnishing Service understands your needs which mean that by working together we can deliver the service your customers deserve.

Raymond Forrester - Branch Manager - East Kilbride
Raymond has been the East Kilbride Branch Manager since April 2007. Responsible to the Managing Director, Raymond's key functions are to manage all aspects of the East Kilbride division in line with company standards/procedures and to meet the company's objectives in developing and expanding the business whilst maintaining outstanding service delivery.
With over 25 years management experience in joinery and rail refurbishment Raymond has a proven track-record in leading, planning, organisation and change management within large companies, delivering first class customer service. Raymond has been responsible for managing up to 100 staff gaining a reputation for possessing excellent man management skills. Raymond also worked with the Royal Bank of Scotland for 3 years on the Design, Configuration, Testing and Implementation of IT system changes and new system development critical to business requirements.
Raymond's objective is to further develop new services to provide a more comprehensive service base which will allow our customers to meet their customers' service needs exactly.

Tony Cooper - Branch Manager - Manchester
Tony joined The Furnishing Service as Branch Manager for Manchester towards the end of 2007. Working previously within the interior refurbishment sector for a major blue chip company he has extensive knowledge of project management from the supply and design through to installation of both commercial and domestic furniture. During his time as Customer Service Director for a major PLC Tony gained tremendous experience in the final 5% finish of projects which developed his commitment to delivering a quality service and that all important attention to detail. Tony has a wealth of experience in both interior design and product design/development and has worked extensively with furniture manufacturers in both the UK and Europe.
Tony believed in an "hands on" approach to management and will regularly be seen out on installations gaining first hand knowledge and looking for any opportunity to improve our service levels. Tony has vast experience in all aspects of the distribution and logistics of delivering furniture.
Tony is 100% committed and extremely passionate about delivering outstanding service to all our customers. He is also working hard to develop other service areas such as storage, recycling and cleaning which will all you to deliver outstanding service to your customers.

Kaye McKenna - Assistant Branch Manager and Buyer
Kaye has been the East Kilbride
Assistant Branch Manager since January 2010. Kaye is also the
Buyer for the Company. Before becoming Assistant Branch
Manager in East Kilbride she was the Contracts Manager since 1995 and has played a significant part in developing The Furnishing Service’s diverse range of products and services.
Kaye achieved her HND in Hotel Management at Napier College ~(now Napier University) in Edinburgh. She worked in the Accounts Department of Thistle Hotels in Edinburgh before moving to Landmark Home Furnishing as Secretary/PA to the Joint MD for 6/7years. For the following 9 years at Landmark she continued her career as Show-house Co-ordinator and PA to the Finance Director. During this time she learned a great deal about the furniture industry, setting up the show-house division, co-ordinating the requirements of several large house builders which led to the creation of the Contracts Division.
As Contracts Manager at The Furnishing Service she has been responsible for the setting up of the Hospital Discharge Programmes/Care in the Community in providing specialised furniture and furnishings. Working closely with the various care providers, housing associations and local authorities a great many successful projects have been established.
Kaye has an extensive knowledge of all ranges of furniture. She specialises in soft furnishings, floor coverings and window coverings for housing for the elderly or special needs groups. Kaye enjoys giving advice to customers to ensure that the products we supply meet the service needs of their customers exactly.
Kaye is also responsible for the purchasing all furnishings and achieving best price from our suppliers.

Debbie Comrie - Finance Manager
Debbie, initially, joined The Furnishing Service as a Bookkeeper in 1996 and was promoted to Finance Manager in 1999.
Debbie previously worked as a Bookkeeper for various small businesses which gave her extensive experience and knowledge across a wide range of financial areas.
Debbie oversees all financial aspects of the company and works hard to ensure that we are at the forefront of introducing new technology when applicable. Innovations, over the years, have included Sage Line 50 and Visa Purchase Card payments.

Jim McNeil - Operations Manager (East Kilbride)
Jim, initially, joined The Furnishing Service as a Measurer / Estimator in 1996 and was promoted to Operations Manager in 1998.
Jim is a time served electrician and has been at the forefront of organising training for our Installers which has led to new services being developed including electric cooker installation, washing machine installation, PAT testing service and a cleaning service.
Jim previously worked for British Steel as a Quality Assurance Co-ordinator.
Jim organises and plans all East Kilbride’s delivery and installation schedules and controls and manages all aspects of this service.
Jim is the key Health and Safety Officer for East Kilbride and is responsible for risk assessments and monitoring East Kilbride’s health and safety performance.
Jim is committed to delivering quality service to ensure all our customers’ needs are met.
